It was a pleasure and a privilege to spend last weekend at the British Association of Music Therapy Conference.  I sat on a panel with Lee Higgins, (http://amzn.to/Nzd4dy) Kathryn Deane, (http://www.soundsense.org/metadot/index.pl) Gary Ansdell (http://bit.ly/1knqh4c) and Tina Warnock http://on.fb.me/1hWa7BC)

We discussed the crossover and collaborative potential between music therapist and community musicians along with the challenges and differences between the two approaches

A dialogue I am really delighted has begun at such conferences and may there be many more collaborations between the best of both

I also delivered a vocal workshop for 40 music therapists and am really looking forward to planning more CPD for music therapists in this area and will be running half day workshops around the country this summer
